robinhood sent me an email

Your application expired because we didn't have enough information to approve your account, but this doesn't have to be the end for us.

I never applied for a robinhood account.

P.S. Both LinkedIn and robinhood require an account in order to contact them.
LinkedIn has restricted my account for suspicious activity, though I haven’t posted since April (maybe).

They are asking for a photo copy of my government-issued ID in order to restore access.

“Your ID will be deleted once we verify your identity.”

It’s widely known (and, I think, pretty uncontroversial) that learning requires effort — specifically, if you don’t have to work at getting the knowledge, it won’t stick.

Even if an LLM could be trusted to give you correct information 100% of the time, it would be an inferior method of learning it.
Relying on ChatGPT to teach you about a topic leaves you with shallower knowledge than Googling and reading about it, according to new research that compared what more than 10,000 people knew after using one method or the other.

Good Things Take A Long Time
In tech, 3 years is often considered a “long tenure”. We maintain open-source projects for 2 years, then burn out. We start habits, lose momentum and quit.

This is one of the nonprofits we donate to. It's the leading advocate for pollinators and other invertebrates, which are so crucial to the health of our ecosystems. Xerces provides a wealth of resources on habitat protection for farmers, landowners, park managers, and homeowners. Highly recommended.
The threats facing invertebrates are serious, & not going away without hard work. Whether you've supported Xerces for 25 years or are new to the team, please consider making a donation to today, so we can continue protecting invertebrates & the places they need to thrive in 2026. ➡️ xerces.org/give
