Smashed it!

Chicken, ham and leek pie after Tom Kerridge. Smashed it! Dragons to keep the grandchildren interested. Small pie was GF and potato starch free.

Well worthy of a statue!

What a thrill this was. We had cycled 10 or so secteurs of pavé and as we arrived at the velodrome noticed the gates were open! I was lucky enough to be in the velodrome when Cancellara won in 2013, but nothing compares to cycling a lap there.

I took this a couple of weeks back. Fog is such a gift to a photograph.

I was born in 57, a couple of months before “Hampden in the Sun”. First football memories are of season 64/65. Yesterday was the 80th trophy #CelticFC won since those early memories. My thoughts go to those, like my grandpa, who supported through thin and thinner and rarely saw a trophy lifted. 🍀💚

It’s wonderful to get close enough to see the details. Did you see the Hockney / Piero mini exhibition. That was stunning too.

Oh yes it is!

Mist or fog can help create that effect.

The Antonine Wall which passes quite close to #CelticFC training ground at Lennoxtown was named after Roman Emperor Antoninus Pius or as he is known more locally, the legend that is Danny McGrain. 🍀💚
