Since deciding I no longer want to have a car, I mostly walk to where I need to get as I can't be bothered with buses. This leads to incidental fitness as yesterday when I had two separate events. Admittedly, the first was an over 50s aerobics dance class, which contributed a bit to this step count

The wisdom of Thich Nhat Hanh is sorely needed in these dark days.
Two years ago, it took me more than 10 attempts to beat Rhitahtyn on "very easy" mode. Today, my alt did it first time on normal mode. I know it's only a game, but I can't help feeling rather pleased with myself. Good to know I can improve on some things, though not jumping puzzles. #ffxiv

Till today, my only knowledge of Erich Kästner was that he wrote Emil and the Detectives and Emil and the Three Twins, both of which I read as a child. I had no knowledge of his background and politics.
