Not actually a penguin. Instead, a very human librarian. Mostly cat pictures and book recommendations here.
Luna is ready for bed.

The cats love the bay windows in our temporary rental. How do I break it to them that our new house doesn’t have any?

Thanks, Billy and Pepper! Your sister says hello!

The rescue is trying to trap these two and if so, it’s socializing time! I finally feel recovered enough to start fostering again!

I met the neighborhood void yesterday! Judging from the sleekness of this feline, I'm fairly certain they have a home. Our neighborhood is not known for its community cats. (As much as I loved admiring them, can the family of this cat please keep them inside before the wildlife does them harm?)

Do I have the most adorable cat in the world or do I have the most adorable cat in the world?

This one was very needy today! In a first, she was also very kneady on my glutes! Dali, how can I train you to do that on a regular basis?

Seriously, cats. I know you’re the best medicine but sometimes I do need to supplement you with OT exercises, and that involves you not sitting on them.

I feel very kneaded.

Alas, I do not have a minyan of cats in this house to daven with me. These two have volunteered to join Zoom services this morning, though!

She came. She purred. She left to attack the tissue box. My emotional support cat is still a cat.

Lassi says, “Forget your OT exercises. The only lines you need to follow are my stripes.”

The one who is going to wake us up in the wee hours of the morning as she scratches at the newfound basement door has decided I’m not allowed to get sleep on this end of the night, either. Isn’t she lucky she’s adorable?

If I were eligible to submit a picture to Baker & Taylor's cat calendar, this is the one I would pick.

Dali agrees that sitting on boxes is the best, even when they’re not heated.

I have yet to convince Dali that the kitchen towel bin is not a cat bed. Gotta find new towel storage.
