Would you have seen this rain wrapped #tornado? I almost couldn't. These heavily edited photos show what's hiding in the storm. This is why you take weather alerts seriously! Thankfully this 🌪️ wasn't on the ground long, but it did just miss a farmhouse!

Chase day 1 in West Texas was...okay. Had camera issues so not one single photo that isn't from my phone. Got a few new dents in the car. Almost drove into a ditch during heavy rain. Still worth it.

I was supposed to be #stormchasing today but instead a 15 minute swap of windshield wipers turned into a 90 minute battle and by then it was too late to start driving. I wish I could bill #rainx for 1. Lying about what will fit my car and 2. My disappointing day 😒 I MISSED THE SPINNY BOIS 🌪️

It may not be known as a "super outbreak" because its sheer volume of tornadoes wasn't high.
But the number of "violent" tornadoes, high death toll & devastation places it in the Mt. Rushmore of outbreaks.
