The Red-breasted Nuthatches are out in full force, seems to be an irruption year for them. I've never seen so many of them here in Eastern South Dakota. #birds

My view of the McCook, NE tornado. One of my favorite individual intercepts, but I missed the tornadoes afterwards because I stopped at the farm house that it hit to help with search and rescue.

Got some shots of Comet C/2025 A6 (Lemmon) tonight. This is a fairly faint comet, so I made a stack of multiple shots to bring out more detail of the comet. I also used this opportunity to get a shot of the Andromeda Galaxy. Brave new world of photography for me lol. #astronomy

Haven't been able to get out and bird much, but I did get a nice shot of this ground squirrel near my apartment this morning lol. Itching for it to get cold enough to get rid of the bugs so that I can start owling again!
