I didn’t make the lineart, but I’m starting to get the hang of coloring and shading! This is so addictive, I was experimenting with different brushes and lighting techniques.

I recently shared some stat that we're spending 30% CPU on finding the distance along a spline, what if we preprocess it into a LUT so we only check 5 line segments?

Do I add redirection and reduce the LUT size merging cells, or allow hash collisions so that I have ~15 segments instead of ~5?

Hinted at before, #Galecrest is the obvious next step for #Crestling. Developing its body and its abilities, their beak has changed shape to be more predatorial.

I was playing around with DeepSeek-R1. It's fun to have my own local LLM, and it's interesting that it shows you its thought process. However it's hilarious how the thought process and the response mismatch!

We spend 5.8ms per frame on updating the kart physics, effects. ~30% of that time is spent on figuring out how far along this 140 segment spline the kart is located.
