Also look at the proclamation from the Trinidad and Tobago President - no red President’s signature - it’s just a office stamp with “CHRISTINE CARLA KANGALOO” in blue text and the blank space - where’s the large red Presidential seal ?
CHRISTINE CARLA KANGALOO President A PROCLAMATION WHEREAS it is enacted by: (a) section 8(1) of the Constitution that the President may, from time to time, make a Proclamation that a state of public emergency exists; and (b) section 8(2) of the Constitution that a Proclamation made by the President shall not be effective unless it contains a declaration that the President is satisfied that action has been taken, or is immediately threatened, by any person, of such a nature and on so extensive a scale, as to be likely to endanger the public safety. Now, therefore, I, CHRISTINE CARLA KANGALOO, President as aforesaid, in pursuance of the powers conferred upon me by section 8(1) of the Constitution hereby declare that: (a) I am satisfied that a public emergency has arisen as a result of the occurrence of action that has been taken, or is immediately threatened, by any person, of such a nature and on so extensive a scale, as to be likely to endanger the public safety; and (b) a state of public emergency exists in the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago. Press release from the Elections and Boundaries Commission of Trinidad and Tobago on April 29 2025 : Preliminary Results of the 2025 Parliamentary Elections The preliminary tabulation and verification of results from the Parliamentary Elections held on Monday, April 28, 2025, have been completed. With a total registered electorate of 1,153,850 across 41 electoral districts in Trinidad and Tobago, voter turnout was recorded at approximately 54%. Based on the preliminary count, the United National Congress (UNC) has emerged as the leading party in the parliamentary elections, securing 26 of the 41 constituencies. The People's National Movement secured 13, and the Tobago People's Party secured 2. The UNC has formally requested general recounts, inclusive of poll cards, in the following constituencies: 1. Arouca/Lopinot 2. Malabar/Mausica 3. San Fernando East All three (3) recounts commenced at 3:00 p.m. today. How could the spelling error of “AVENUE” on the new sign go unnoticed before the unveiling of the new sign ?
