In No-Brainer USA News: If SCOTUS gives Trump the power to fire independent regulators, they are not independent. SCOTUS will go down in history as the entity that greased the skids of the US descent into autocracy/fascism. Add to this that US Republican Party enabled, and Dems proved impotent.

Trump is the most openly corrupt president in American history, and that makes it extra difficult to interpret what's happening when he makes seemingly unexplainable decisions. It's a big problem if the European press won't discuss this issue.
