Incredible that npr frames this like it’s a reach across the aisle moment for republicans. Look how bipartisan the absolute hacks are being to try to stop the bloodbath that’s their fault! Absolutely bowing down to them and they’re still cutting npr’s funding. Suck them off more maybe?

I think Interesting Times suffers from an even larger amount of the same issues you bring up for Pyramids which is odd because I think he can write a satire of another culture pretty well (Small Gods comes to mind). Love the series, but something feels off in those two books to me
