The place for my miniature wargaming hobby
Possibly, I could possibly rotate Rapid Fire in and Over the Top out.

A variant of CDS, or COC?

Artillery pieces can be fiddly to assemble, but again I love what you can find in QRF range that cannot be found elsewhere. I wish they were more responsive to customer about updating the website…

The most of the vehicle miniatures are a tad dated, missing the details and variety of builts now available in 3D prints. But price is fine, and the width of the catalog is impressive. You’ll find lots of kits you’ll not find elsewhere. 1/2

I found a workaround. The old website, including some pictures, was archived on the Internet Archive/Wayback Machine. It is actually navigable, by and large. At least, I can take notes for an order. Not ideal, but at least a little help…

Their website was wiped out in summer of last year, and what they rebuilt is nowhere as useful and easy to browse as it used to be. Too bad, because they really have good products. Some a bit crude, but quite good once painted.

Anything suitable to run a campaign, with battles/skirmishes resolved on the tabletop?

Which raised some interesting issues for the wargamer. The place is flat, but in a flat place, every minimal feature in the terrain makes a difference, be it a boulder, a tiny depression, a ‘ridge’ no higher than a few feet.

And this is the view southward. There are some recent structure farther down the shallow ‘valley’ in this direction, but you get the point: the place is FLAT.

Deir el Shein should be somewhere to the left (i.e. west-north-west from the point on the ridge I snapped the picture.) Hard to tell: as you may notice, the place is pretty void of points of reference — and even
less it must have been in 1942.

I feel my spine stiffen just by looking at that Prussian officer!

Quite proud of this pic taken last Sunday. WW2 North Africa IABSM game, 15mm Peter Pig miniatures.

This is the show near the airport, right? Been there two years ago — you had a gate right next to the main road, and they sent me on a two-mile circumnavigation of the facility… Dumb.
