Rereading a book series I love. I'm at the point where the people unify and band together against a common evil. It's not hitting the same. Somehow, in a book about vampires, monsters, and faeries, the least believable thing is that half of us might be convinced to give a shit about another person.

The most stupid thing about this argument that destroying the economy will create jobs is that the unemployment rate was the lowest it has been in decades. We didn't fucking need more jobs.
