I crave the late night, long talk, who you really are at the core of it all kind of conversations and I'm never sure how to scratch that itch, but when it happens, it's so emotionally sustaining and fulfilling.

I feel like I talk about it weekly and probably always will. People are so scared of the disabled label and afraid to ask about AT that could genuinely help them. It's right up there with the curb cut effect on my list of things I can and will endlessly discuss with anyone willing to listen

I wrote about Alma, Rodney Taylor and the various ways ICE is a risk to the disability community.

They don’t care about accommodations.

They’ve dismantled the oversight committees.

People are dying and becoming disabled inside these camps, and we must speak out:
Disabled People are Being Mistreated in ICE Detention Facilities
Why is no one talking about it? Where's the media? Where's the public outcry? Another example of the pervasive nature of ableism and how society views disabled people as expendable.
