So, do we think Neurodivergent people are susceptible to unhealthy paranormal relationships more/less/or the same as Neurotypicals

Yesterday was "Can I turn my car stereo up loud enough to draw out my emotions". Today is "how many depressing metal ballads can I listen to".

I don't believe nice guys finish last... boring guys do. However, it's certainly easy to try and reach for that comfort when you're in pain

A 3.5 hour phone call with a friend that started at 5am (not having stayed up all night). That was fantastic (reasons for the call weren't great, but the discussion was and just being able to talk to someone like that)

Two independent studies found that AI chatbots were better at persuading voters than political ads. The most persuasive bots also lied the most. This is something that humans working in psyops have known for decades. AI is psyops at scale. www.technologyreview.com/2025/12/04/1...

JFC I was stuck in an ADHD loop of 5 tasks that I kept interrupting with the next task. I've taken my meds... ugh.

Limerance is a hell of a drug

Sometimes I think about my actions in TT RPG terms (I played GURPS in my youth). I wonder what the skill penalty when I try to grab something from right pants pocket with my left hand because my right hand is full.

Waiting for my emotions to catch to up to my intellect is bullshit. I think this is the fault of Limerance.

Reminds of my the media tie-in cereals of my youth like Gremlins and E.T. the cereal. No, I didn't purchase it (not a fan of "savory" extradimensional flavored cereals).

Perfect Autumn morning today: Windy, slightly wet from overnight rain, leaves swirling around, a little overcast, with filtered sunlight (hour past sunrise)

Pet peeve: Asking clarifying questions to those above me and being told to read between the lines.
I kind of remember hearing something about things that happen when you assume.

In non-political opinions: I prefer small bean natto to big (at least with rice).

It looks like all of the Dem senators that voted to reopen the government received money from PACs that are part of the airline lobby. I guess we can only hope that the House rejects the bill (and be furious that these traitors won't up for election for a while).

My trip to L.A. has taught me two things about myself regarding personal travel:
1. I need to more thoroughly research things I want to do in the area
2. Limit my time there to only allow for those things (including a day to just wander)

I need to see if booking flights later in the day will help with anxiety. This way I have some daytime to finish things instead of not sleeping, worrying if I forgot something, wondering about my place, etc. I'm totally done with the plane... just everything else keeps me up.

So one of the extolled benefits of Gen AI is to increase employee productivity. Companies have already shown they don't care about productivity with RTO mandates.
