i went to Paris this year for the first time since 2008 and it was wild how much easier the Metro was to use, supposedly because of improvements made for the Olympics. I heard the same for the big city Japan rail services.

meanwhile the LA Metro is still awful and the Olympics is in 2 years lol/rip
