That time when political officials ignored the 1st amendment and became the final arbiters of "the full counsel of biblical teaching" and what constitutes a "distorted message." What if someone got up and simply read Matthew 5 or passages from the prophets about the treatment of strangers?

When Democrats don't go to church, a huge chunk of them say that religion is "not important at all"

About 70% in 2022.

But among Republicans who never attend:

Only 40% say religion is not at all important.

Pretty good evidence for Cultural Christianity.

Some love and some hate Trump's executive orders. But for all, the shock of Trump's breathtaking use of executive orders should highlight one most important fact: we have grown far too comfortable with bloated executive power. This power has long been accumulated by presidents of both parties.

A Church that doesn't purposefully listen to and take seriously the voice of historically marginalized peoples--especially churches among them--isn’t taking seriously the way of Jesus. I confess I should do much better at this.
We Have a "Confessing Church" in the U.S. It's Called the Black Church.
No offense to Bonhoeffer or his compatriots, but don't overlook the Black Christian witness.

The latest I'm hearing about the new cash trade rule.

It all starts with Evander and Lucho Acosta, plus why all of these deals are connected.
