I'm reminded of a conversation I had recently with my buddy. She said "Am I attracted to men? Yes, unfortunately. Do I like men? Absolutely not."

Shouldn't we be asking his son, since they're keeping track of each other?

They were such a pain in the ass to find which can you were looking for in the back of a dark cupboard if the labels were turned even just a little bit 🤣

I don't think store brands were as much of a thing at that point?

I remember going to Star and the one that started with B ( Bells? ) and getting generic soups, canned veggies, etc that were just white labels with black print like "Green beans."

We were a strictly Wonderbread household when I was a kid. I remember eating at a friend's house and thinking they must feel sad because they didn't have nice, soft sandwich bread. Little did I know until I left home...

Our neighborhood in Penfield gets 2-4 water main breaks every year, almost invariably in the same places, and has for the 30 years we've lived here.

You'd think the water authority would have at some point decided that the cost of short-term patches would have exceeded a permanent fix...

The broker keeps reminding him that they don't ship themselves, they just facilitate finding a truck that can handle motorcycle shipments that's also going between our two cities, which takes time.

Starting to suspect the buyer is a complete moron.

Right? Aside from the obvious issues as a whole, I'm almost ready to go full Boomer with "Why are rich people also some the dumbest ones on the planet?"

I grew up in Macedon. There were 5 houses on my mile-long block, and we were surrounded by fields. We also had a dirt airstrip across from us that was used regularly. Our source of entertainment was target shooting in a quarry.

Now it's all but unrecognizable, with housing tracts everywhere.

I'm now reminded of how back in the 90's I was working as a traveling engineer for Kodak, and ran up nearly $100k in a month on a company credit card... which I would still have to cover if they didn't reimburse me.

Just a bit stressful.

I have several coworkers in the south who have been posting shots of it in our water cooler Slack channel, and as someone who was completely clouded in last night, I hate them all a little bit
