Not sure how to look this up, but I’d be curious to know yards/play for the Lions before and after Jaylon got hurt. It wasn’t great before that, but it seemed like the wheels came off after.
DBs were supposed to be a strength, but with JJ, Kyler and Smith out, DB is not strong or deep.

The Bears D started 3 guys that Poles drafted today (Dexter, Brisker, Stevenson). It’s year 4. This is a total failure. Only 4 on offense, too.
For comparison, the Lions drafted every starter on their offense except Goff.
The reporters need to make a bigger deal about this.

The overall non-Chicago expert and analytics takes range from “he was fine” to “he was bad but not terrible.” I think this is because they don’t really account for the fact that some of the bad plays were almost comical. So the eye test is way worse than a binary good/bad test each play.
