To be honest I think it matches what some mangaka think when they have to design some clothes X)

I'd think about something with a rather short cloak, and maybe the jacket having the buttons off center, with a belt, perhaps like a Tunika?

(Thinking of African or Asian uniforms / formal clothing)

No idea what to wear with it. Shoes, trousers, hat?

Sorry to hear, this is an awful experience... I hope you'll have a better one next time!

Best chocolate for a good price that you get almost everywhere IMHO ~

I think it's okay. The past is gone and I'm proud of my parents for being the way they are.

if you read this far I ask you:

We live in a society together.
Be the neighbour you want to have living next door.

Cheers, have a great weekend!

The same neighbours looked down on my parents for decades, for how they raise their children, how they picture wealth, where they came from (poor people taking the ladder), how they give everyone a chance to be.
Now those neighbours have no one anymore and come to my parents for help.

Their children don't want to spend time with them because they're put under pressure to help. This help has to be done under a commanding tone.
And this on top of whatever they have to get through when growing up with them.
They have their reasons for not living next door.

We rarely turn down their requested help. We have our reasons, be it health or a full schedule.
When we help them, we learn why their relatives aren't helping as some things are tasks to be done by a relative sooner or later.

Summarised: In my point of view, they see their children as assets.

I can help my parents whenever they need my help and when I feel like I want to help them and vice versa. We don't want this to be mandatory.

But those neighbours do have children and grandchildren as well. Some of them live just a few streets away.
