We don't need to raise rates. We need to aggressively enforce current IRS laws and regulations, close the loopholes, and change the policies that favor the rich. This requires killing the filibuster, reforming SCOTUS - expanding or whatever, and getting rid of Citizens United.

We know that most people don't know shit about the budget. If reporters always told people that foreign aid was less than 1 percent of government spending and that public broadcasting was less than 0.01 percent, people wouldn't think one-third of the budget went to these areas.
