(9/9) There are a few other things I've had to do, but the above gives you all a good summary of how things are going, and what to expect in terms of quality.
Stay tuned for more updates!

(8/9) Lastly, I managed to hack in really, REALLY rudimentary English alphabet support for the name entry screen. This was entirely in Japanese on PS2 (but that'll likely change with an update), and I don't have time to do a fully polished hack for this. Instead, this is it!

(7/9) There are some other things unique to the DC version of the patch, like the title screen from the first post in this thread, as well as the pause menu seen below.
On PS2, the original patch author couldn't modify the textures for these areas, but they're wide open on DC.

(5/9) After that, I also tweaked the apostrophe font glyph. I wasn't too big a fan. I think it looks better now.

(4/9) There was something else though that was really bugging me. For some reason, a number of ASCII font glyphs were misaligned vertically. Pay special attention to characters like 't', 'r', 'w', and 'x'.
This was an error the original developers made, but now it's fixed!

(3/9) However, one relatively quick assembly hack later, and we're looking good on DC! The horizontal offset for text rendering has been shifted enough to the left to mitigate any form of premature cut off.

(2/9) One thing we immediately noticed is how both the history viewer text (top) and dialogue text (bottom) are cut off in many instances.
This wasn't true on the PS2...
