First time using a Magic Trackpad with my MBP for work. The temptation to reach for my mouse is still there. So far I love the gestures for navigating web pages and full screen apps.

Bong Go can keep telling himself that, but in the end he's Duterte's Errand Boy first, and Senator of the Philippines second.

I just saw the news about Dennis Padilla and his daughter's wedding. People were so quick to judge or defend him.

The truth is we don't know the full story - and even if we do, we have no right to pass judgement to any party.

Remember the Gospel from last Sunday - John 8:1-11.

Oh, you did something for the sake of your country? Well, congratulations, I guess? That doesn't magically make it a good thing. Saying that is like putting ketchup on a burnt steak—it doesn’t fix the problem, and now you've just made it weird. (1/4)

For the incoming PH elections - the people must now start asking our senatorial candidates about their position on the upcoming impeachment proceedings on the Vice President. Anyone who's not willing to check the presented evidence prior to giving judgement should not be elected.

I have come to love watching SP Chiz Escudero's press conferences. Straight to the point and light hearted at times.

I smiled giddily knowing that Representative Luistro is part of the House Panel to lead the impeachment case. Let's see what happens next.

Apparently Jose Rizal (i.e. our boy J. Rizz) will be in Civilization 7 game. I don’t know how the game works but this guy wins the day for me

I absolutely destroyed my 3x25 Tempo workout yesterday, a first time to complete once since I got back to cycling. I once again realized that positive self talk will get you somewhere and that you won’t grow if you don’t go out of your comfort zone.

Rewatching Chernobyl. Its first words hit different these days.

“What is the cost of lies? It’s not that we’ll mistake them for the truth. The real danger is that if we hear enough lies, then we no longer recognize the truth at all.”

Spaniards used to deprive native Filipinos quality education to perpetuate the ignorance and weakness thus keeping them at bay. Looks like some of our politicians have taken notes and doing the same to us. Turns out political science has a term for it: Predatory Governance.

The best thing you can do is starve Meta for revenue. Never click on or buy anything through their ads. Never pay for an ad to sell a product or advertise an event. Never do anything again that will put one cent in Mark Zuckerberg's pocket!

Instead of "I apologize for the delay," write "thank you for your patience." In lieu of "sorry for the oversight," write
"if you're so perfect, why don't you fu*king do it, Marsha."

Digital Garden Update: I have created a “Now” page which lists down my thought log without creating a proper post. This is good for posts that are too short in form. I love this.

Now that I am on a budget, I find it easier to say no to unplanned purchase.

Well it's still difficult. I just said it's easiER.

Now that I started budgeting my finances, I realized why my mom would ask me not to say "wala akong pera", but rather "wala akong budget". I have money, I just don't have enough to do an unplanned purchase.

Our Ayuda Culture will always prevail as that covers the majority of the electorate and the middle class will always be neglected. We are only remembered when it’s time to pay our taxes every month.
An upper middle-income nation by 2025? What PH is bound to lose
MANILA, Philippines — To be finally called an “upper middle-income country (MIC)” sounds good to the ears. And this year, we have repeatedly heard the economic team of President Marcos tout
