Jan 6 was a violent insurrection. It was not prosecuted appropriately due to compromised Supreme Court. Now Congress is sitting on their hands as Trump steals their power. I support separation of powers and the constitution.
Unfortunately, the Evergreen shooting isn't nearly the political lighting rod. We are desensitised to school shootings. I think it's wild that Trump's going for half mast flags for Charlie, when the Minnesota representatives(who actually worked for the government) didn't get that.

I want to be respectful of the situation as is deserved. But it's really crazy coincidence that Charlie was about to start ripping on Trans Mass Shooters. Talk about a political lighting rod. IMO, Charlie definitely could be a pawn in this shit show

Obviously terrible, but I don't think anyone is dead yet in Evergreen.

$TMC would probably really struggle with ISA delaying another year. And it's hard to keep getting investors without some kind of government sponsorship. So yes, a change in the administration would probably be bad for $TMC. But for now they survive and prove/disprove the tech

I believe the plan will be to work within the US's EEZ initially, yes the EO specifies "recovery permits in areas beyond national jurisdiction" but I think that's going to be later phase unless Nauru is going to abandon UNCLOS and align with the US to open up the CCZ.

Deep sea mining was a big speculative gamble that didn't work out in the 70s. Today the tech is much better, the market for these metals is more developed, the US government is aligned and ready to sponsor.
