We made Black history!

We gave 225 Black Beauty Supply Kits to patients at Cone Health Behavioral Health!

This Black History Month and all throughout the year, we aim to fulfill our ancestors' dream to heal with dignity.

New Year, New Site!

I waited to share with you during this time of celebrating Dr. King's legacy that we finally have a new Depressed While Black site!

I hope that this could be a place where we normalize Black-affirming care for psychiatric patients.

They want you to believe they enslaved us &despite a few “outbursts” we did not resist.

They want to burn the books so they can hide that from the day they pulled us to this land we have been at war.
There is no month, no day, no hour since 1619 where we have not fought back.

Today is the Transgender Day of Remembrance. There have been 420+ reported lives lost this year, some to suicide, most to violence.

The numbers are higher each year. The trans community is under attack, we're losing people, but we can't forget them.

Every loss is a tragedy. You will be remembered.
