Honderden studenten van universiteiten, hbo en mboopleidingen werken de komende jaren aan een nieuwe satelliet voor onderzoek naar zwarte gaten. Het project moet zorgen dat meer jonge talenten in de Nederlandse ruimtevaart blijven werken, iets waar de industrie nu mee worstelt.

The Dutch TROPOMI space instrument creates daily global maps of amongst others carbon monoxide (CO) in the atmosphere. Researchers from SRON and TNO have now measured CO emissions over a full year from the 21 largest European steel plants.

Eindelijk is vanuit de ruimte te zien hoeveel grote fabrieken uitstoten van het vervuilende koolmonoxide
