Rep. Adelita S. Grijalva
"If federal agents are brazen enough to fire pellets directly at a Member of Congress, imagine how they behave when encountering defenseless members of our community.

It’s time for Congress to rein in this rogue agency NOW."

How is that ‘good’ when every state does it and we end with fewer seats than now (not that I believe it will make a difference this time as he’s impossibly unpopular).
In a surprising twist, the U.S. Supreme Court’s recent decision to let Texas use its mid-decade gerrymander for the 2026 midterm elections may end up strengthening California’s defense of its voter-approved map. www.democracydocket.com/news-alerts/...

My constituent, Wilmer, was mauled by an ICE attack dog despite the fact that, as he has consistently explained, he was not resisting arrest or trying to flee—his wife and young children, all U.S. citizens, were forced to watch helplessly as Wilmer was violently attacked and dragged away.

Except that is a salutation meant for Christians, while the generic, ‘Happy Holidays’ speaks to everyone and can lead to the of honoring the other by asking how they will, if they celebrate.
Jesus and I would like to remind you that literally no one has ever stopped anyone from saying 'Merry Christmas.’

Each vicarious murder seems to excite our perverted S.O.W. as if adding millimeters to his alcohol shriveled penis. Sad and pathetic that he devalues another’s life and experience.

If this is not war, why is our military engaged in civilian actions and the murder of seventy persons?

3 losses in 3 months. 7 grieving kids. Holidays coming. We lost my 27 year old sister, my grandfather, and now my 94-year-old grandmother is in the hospital.

Funerals, clearing homes, daily care, Christmas..we’re overwhelmed.

What a shit he is. Cruel, indifferent, obsequious and obtuse. Perfect for this administration. He’ll be squealing like the pig he is when found guilty of his many crimes.
The drunken rapist war criminal sure is a psycho.

Dear Peter:
There is no Statute of Limitation to murder. Your 'Pardon' will be challenged. Winston would have thought the perfect phrase by which we would remember the lot of you. Several phrases come to mine but none so perfect as to contain you all.
Sincerely,
Bill

Who has been better at radicalization than the right?
Who has caused more harm to our lawmakers, our law enforcers and those who abide the law?
Who has been more corrupt given the privilege marginally provided them?

Cringeworthy, but it isn't difficult to imagine the dummy, Trump, with his ventriloquist, Miller, with Miller's arm buried to the elbow in Donald's ass. Also spach Zarathustra.

Where is the “righteous right” saying, “God has called her home”! Not this lot: they only seek to use her as a an excuse to harm others. There is never, never an excuse to violence. Never. Nor to incite that in others.
20-year-old West Virginia National Guard member, Sarah Beckstrom, died a day after volunteering to serve in DC so that others could enjoy Thanksgiving with their families. She deserves our gratitude, not political exploitation by a shameless president who scapegoats immigrants to swell his power.

Is it possible Trump foresees a future where the world is divided into just 3-4 geopolitical regions?
One made up of Eastern-Asian states, with the Chinese government leading them, Another made up of Eastern Europe with Russia in charge and a third made up of North, South and Central America.

Why would we expect Trump to side with Ukraine when he not once in two years sided with the Palestinians?

We’d like to end today with a quote from Eleanor Roosevelt:

We do not have to become heroes overnight. Just a step at a time, meeting each thing that comes up, seeing it as not as dreadful as it appears, discovering that we have the strength to stare it down.

Just keep going. Goodnight, heroes.

SEN. KELLY : “They informed me of this in a tweet because this is not about the law. This is about the media cycle, and intimidation… We basically repeated the uniform code of military justice, and they're saying that's in violation of it. It's absurd. Comical.”
