I’ll always believe in freedom.

The freedom to move without a car.
The freedom to choose an alternative to a box that kills 40,000+ Americans a year.
The freedom to safely get around for free — w/ our legs, our stroller, our wheelchairs, our bikes.
…even if no one else does.

You'll never be able to convince me that we HAVE to have cars in America.

However, I understand that they have become part of our identity.
Our personality, our status.

Our relationship with metal boxes in America is far too gone. To the point, we can't think for ourselves.

You may have heard the term 'car brain' before. To some, it's when being behind the wheel of a vehicle takes over our emotions. Say, road rage.

To me, it's how we believe cars have a brain. That they have emotion. That we would hurt their feelings, if we don't stroke their ego.

We know this is an uphill battle, with parts of Charlotte where transit isn’t even an option.

This is unacceptable and causes congestion across the Queen City.

If a vehicle is the only option, we’ve failed. Reliable, safer, and more frequent alternatives are a must.
