I'm always confused by this is that cities that are perceived as dangerous (while not actually being that dangerous) tend to have the highest transit ridership in the US.

Every time I think it’s the top I miss out on another 10% of gains. Feels like a perpetual motion machine at this point.

A lot of Paris feels very overwhelming and crowded. Amsterdam makes it much easier to pitch suburban people on urbanism.
