Trophy hunters take great pleasure in killing these gentle creatures. This hunter killed a giraffe on Valentine's Day, posting 'Ever wondered how big a giraffe’s heart is? I’m absolutely over the moon with my BIG valentine’s present' & said she would use the skin as a rug.

Got a good look at my striking hawk visitor today. The other birds stayed well away!
