“[W]hat we have not been allowed to do?” The committee to which this bill was referred could have held hearings at any time and marked it up, making whatever amendments it wanted. Your own committee chairman was the one who decided not to have hearings and a markup. Don’t blame that on others.

This is good news, but I don’t think the government has to prove that the prosecution was vindictive. The burden of proof of vindictive prosecution lies with the defendant. Same as in the Comey case.
