3)when I gave my presentation, I noted that in coming back to America I felt that LGBT was insufficient for our own movement, and if not sexual minority (I understand the historical negatives) we needed something to foster a stronger communal relationship.

1) In 2020, I had the honor of presenting at CSAS on #LGBT #queer language use in Japan. In particular, I argued that LGBT nomenclature was intrinsically divisive because of my own experiences living in Japan but also talking to many others after I left. #japan #queerjapan #anthropology

Tonight was so special! @lauracoates.com and Ms. Tina Knowles were amazing! We laughed a lot but the audience was locked in on Tina’s stories. In these times, we need more of this type of dialogue and sharing of wisdom!
