Also, what is the economic plan here? TMX isn't at full capacity. China is changing the game with cheap batteries, which fundamentally change the economics of cars. But we're going to double down on oil. Exactly how will CCS be paid for when demand for oil falls in the next decade?

Premier Smith is trashing the Charter with her unconstitutional attacks on transgender and labour rights. Ottawa doesn't care about this constitutional crisis, instead Premier Smith gets the biggest handout from the feds at BC's expense.

This is all while the 5 most expensive homes in BC are valued at $300M. Jim Pattison alone holds more wealth than all of Salmon Arm, BC. The entire system of tax cuts allows a handful of people to amass wealth while the rest of us have to wait in line for basic services.

The public system is substantially more cost effective but only when it isn't being skewered and bled for cost-savings. Perversely, these "cost savings" make the entire system more expensive.

Cuts in government spending end up costing more in the long-term. Healthcare workers are overextended today, which hurts quality. People then look for private options, which draws workers away from public system leading to worse quality. It's the feedback loop that's been degrading healthcare.
