This might be a good reason to remind service members and intelligence officers to refuse illegal orders if so given.

This is what I was trying to say unsuccessfully yesterday. Driving a wedge is kinda what I meant by making them pick sides. Shame is the result of them feeling awkward from the position they were forced into.
