Very proud of kid 3. They were able to raise over $400 for the World Wide Fund for Nature.

They made little clay tchotchkes, painted #3dprint -ed book marks, little red panda keychains, and panda buttons.

Although Easter is over, I wanted to pay homage to the Easter Bunny (albeit in a not so cuddly way) 🐰💀

Inspired by a real rabbit skull, with a few artistic touches, like the long ears.

Spent a little money on the 3d printer and picked up a camera, a textured pei plate and some white filament.

Good times

Watching "Flow" on HBO. It's mighty good for a movie with no words.

The best part, my cat has been watching from 6" away the entire time.... This behavior is a first

Saw this outside of my kids' school maker space... And I could agree more.

Either about 3d printing or just life in general.

Today's print is the pain fidget. Is it painful, no not really... But is it fun to roll across your palms, absolutely.

Found on thingiverse

Had to scale it up a bit to fit my hand, but otherwise no issues printing them

Concern, worries, and stress.

Very little of which I have control of. Which is frustrating

Iteration 2 is much better.
Wife is requiring me to reprint the headphone charger in green to match.

Today I was annoyed that my glasses get thrown on my desk at bedtime and don't have a spot.

Challenged myself to try tinkercad and design a thing... And this is what I came up with - two boxes attached together with a hole at the bottom.

Even though basic, really proud that I designed it

Had to help with set builds for the kids' musical production. Left a few little guys hidden around to be found later.

Not quite as satisfying as googly eyes, but still amusing.

And then I hid two in the main hallway of the school.

Little dude was sick, so I printed him a little sympathy elephant. Something to hold and feel.

Then he wanted a penguin.
then a bunny.

All are printed at a .24 extrusion (vs .16 for better quality) so they printed fast and all have print lines, which make them even better to fidget with

Do I know any makers or #3dprinter types that design with accessibility in mind??
Does anybody on here do accessibility sphere 3D printing? I’d love to get involved.
