Ys: OATH IN FELGHANA - Some of those earlygame zones were really annoying (lava zone especially) but after that I started really jiving with it. I miss bumping but I do also enjoy the combat they got going on in this game. Pretty alright storywise too.

ENDER MAGNOLIA: BLOOM IN THE MIST - God damn what a massive step up from ENDER LILIES. Like Lilies was a fantastic search-action game with great vibes and strong design but this elevates all of what was good about it in every way while also bringing a lot of life and personality to the table.

ENDER MAGNOLIA: BLOOM IN THE MIST - God damn what a massive step up from ENDER LILIES. Like Lilies was a fantastic search-action game with great vibes and strong design but this elevates all of what was good about it in every way while also bringing a lot of life and personality to the table.
2001 A SPACE ODYSSEY - I'd seen parts of it before but never all the way through. Gotta say I can see why this has such a massive influence on the cultural memory, and it's wild seeing some of those things in their original form after they were parodied to death. Genuinely so good.

CASTLEVANIA: RONDO OF BLOOD - Peak Classicvania tbh. Sick as fuck. Not sure if it's my favorite of them but I'd definitely say it's the best. Lived up to the hype for sure. I just wish it had more iframes sometimes. Maria Renard is the absolute best??

Ys II CHRONICLES - This game is confusing as hell in terms of a lot of design choices. The implementation of magic kinda making bump combat obsolete to the point of every boss except the final two being immune to melee is the big thing that stands out, alongside the grind-locked progression.

HOLLOW KNIGHT: SILKSONG - Long as fuck game. Extremely good. Fun as hell to move around and play and get lost in thanks to just how engaging Hornet's moveset is, not to mention how well-designed most of the game world and bosses are. Worth the wait, excited for whatever DLC they got cooking.

CITY THE ANIMATION - The normal episodes were fucking incredible comedy but when they decided to get weird with it they really went all out. The comedy is great, the characters great, I always had a smile on my face everytime I watched it. I hope it gets a second season but what it got is perfect.

BAD GIRL - I enjoyed this a lot more than I thought I would. It was a bit Much sometimes but I dunno, it was a fun time. Kinda wild how they had two post-credits flashbacks that were total tone shifts and those actually kinda hit.

NECRONOMICO AND THE COSMIC HORROR SHOW - I liked it a lot!! The concept of a variety game show hosted by eldritch gods is just fun and the characters were just fun and over-the-top in the best way. Also, the insane TWO toxic yuri pairs???? It was just a blast all the way through for me.
