Elected and presidentially appointed officials are the only people in America who don’t need to be qualified to obtain and keep their jobs. The rest of us have to prove ourselves qualified to work even minimum wage jobs. We have all lowered the bar for politicians by voting the way we do.
Sec. Noem oversees hundreds of thousands of employees across 10 agencies—many with the power to arrest citizens. She should understand what 'habeas corpus' means. The fact that she doesn’t is deeply concerning and raises serious questions: Does she know her job? Has she even read the Constitution?

Not sure who posted this first but Amen! I’m not Catholic but what an opportunity the Catholic Church has right now to show Christians and others a more humane way to relate to other human beings.
