Second funniest - there’s a card when they stereotyped the wrong Latin American country.
On another note, I recently discovered this incredible LP! Céline Dion covered its most iconic song, “It’s All Coming Back To Me Now,” and made it a hit, but there’s so much more here. A culmination of Jim Steinman’s operatic and progressive pop rock ethos that still sounds fresh 35 years later.

How about “highly underrated attempt by popular Japanese singer to break into Western markets”? Considering Nokko’s stature (she was the lead singer of influential J-rock band Rebecca) and the producers on this thing (Towa Tei and Saint Etienne among them), it’s crazy how underrated this album is.

Rating system junkies: according to the BBFC’s Annual Report published yesterday, everyone was right about The Abyss and its UK release! IMO, this rings hollow when they passed Ebola Syndrome (where a chicken has a Sub-Zero Spine Rip pulled on it and frogs are intentionally wounded and salted) uncut
