Covid began in 2020. Trump bungled it into a deep recession. Biden had the economy humming again on January 19, 2025. Trump Crash 2.0 might be two Covids deep. The sooner he is defeated, the better for everybody.
This is the appropriate picture. The cheeseball with thumbs was not exactly photoshopped in, but intruded as the price for this photo.

To a lay person, it looks like the economy is very bad (see consumer sentiment), but we have a hard time seeing how lowering the interest rate helps anybody but Wall Street -- except in slow, laborious ways that won't take effect for months or years. ?

Russia. They were so quick to deny it. Or maybe J.D. Vance, trying to sink Kushner's ship.

One of the strongest indicators of a bubble is the frequency of use of the term "bubble" in media, whatever the phrasing. "Here comes a bubble," "Is there a bubble?", "There is no bubble."

Audio of such a meeting could only have come from the Russians themselves. Jared Witkoff and Dmitriev and Jared Kushner are con men slash influence surfers, palace intriguers, imho. Trump is the doddering old mad king. Putin is as mad, but not as doddering.
November 27, 2025 at 6:19 AM
Jared Kushner is right in the middle of this, the sleazy little bitch. Not any better than Trump, equally venal, just about as stupid. Actually, maybe dumber.
November 27, 2025 at 12:22 AM
Jared Kushner is in there, too. All outside any official government -- executive or legislative -- ken. Is Trump really so addled they could put any piecce of paper in front of him and he'd sign it? Yes. But you need more than one signature. This is a dangerous time.

Yikes! The kind of outlier prediction that usually comes before a crash.

Yes, concise and correct. The only thing that doesn't quite fit is the header above. 'Control Inflation' (?). Not that you don't mention inflation, and a better way to fix it than the current one, but that sure is not the theme.

This answers my initial question, which was WTF?

Squeezing the would-be student, who should not have to pay for their education (especially nurses) in any form in the first place, and gouging the rest of us on the back end with expensive or scarce services. It's malevolence or incompetence or both. Rooted in contempt for reality and real people.

".. the economy is going down the toilet ... there is no off-ramp ... Trump screwed up an economy that was the envy of the world...

There to assist with the crackdown on civil society ahead of the election, no doubt. Find a dictator wannabe anywhere and you'll find Vladimir Vladimirovich, ususally in the shadows, but here right out there on the tarmac.

Tsipris is one big reason Greece is now in permanent recession. All mouth, no backbone.
November 25, 2025 at 8:16 PM
No fair. Now Tuberville has a record now. People know he's dumber and just as bad as Roy Moore.

I bet half the threats of violence come from Russia, where that is the normal thing. MAGA and Moscow operate from the same playbook. Heck, Trump is bromancing the oligarchs just like Putin did. The oligarchs should take note. Marjorie Taylor Greene was thrown under the bus. Nobody is safe.
