Well, it's finally time to redo the modal system, the token library won't work otherwise. I didn't think that having a single dynamic modal would work in perpetuity, but I'm glad it carried isocon this far.

For the longest time, Ada the Trogg Bastion, Graddes the Lopen Enochian, and Sae the Thrynn Chanter have been my go-to units for debugging Isocon, but tonight they've finally gotten their own unique appearances. Expect to see more of them in screenshots and videos!

Version 0.6.2 has been released! New click handling on tokens, player movement indicators, a tutorial system, and increase granularity of camera rotation are just a few of the new features and improvements!

Maleghast UI is almost complete, v0.6 will contain configurable upgrades for units and traits/ACT/SOUL abilities for necromancers!

A tester of the v0.6 preview build immediately set about recreating Riovanes Castle Interior and did a pretty bang-up job of it, in my opinion.

Tile painting is now fully supported in the latest release of IsoCON! Fight your battles on sandy beaches, murky bogs, lava rivers, whatever you want!

Soon GMs won't be bound by the default checkerboard pattern - paint tile by tile with no restriction!

Tokens can now be placed and removed from the field, and moving is no longer a default action when you have a token selected, but instead is a mode entered by clicking the appropriate menu item.

Okay I just found out about HELLPIERCERS by @sandypuggames.bsky.social and the Kickstarter has this image in it so I'm definitely checking out as well as earmarking it as a project potentially well-suited to IsoCON support.

Prior versions of IsoCON were limited to a few predefined color palettes, it's now possible to manually change all colors!

I'm working on IsoCON, a fully 3d, open source, p2p VTT and map builder focused on minimizing learning curve and config! It's primarily for ICON by Massif Press, but also has a generic mode for other games. Create and play tactical maps in mere minutes!
