As far as I can tell Nakadai outlived everyone in there and was probably the last of the Kurosawa stable. Legendary run

Tons has been said about Nakadai's turn as a leading man in Kurosawa's later epics, but I'm nearly due for a Yojimbo rewatch, and chances are I'll always think of him first in that villainous gunslinger context
