I've been calling every day (except Sunday) to guide them on how to vote and what to focus on next. I didn't think it was necessary, but it turns out they truly needed my input to know how to represent us effectively.
I love to call my Senators' offices three times per week and try to cajole them into doing the most elementary political messaging and strategy. This is what it means to be an engaged citizen: leaving a strenuously polite voicemail for a 74yo on a more regular cadence than I talk to my parents.

What about the Geneva Convention? How does it relate to this situation?
“we have to be able to commit war crimes to win wars” is the type of thing a 16-year-old dumbass says and — well, yeah, hegseth is basically a 16-year-old dumbass
NEW: Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth is expected to start a sweeping overhaul of military lawyers to make the US less restricted by the laws of armed conflict, per ppl familiar @theguardian.com exclusive www.theguardian.com/us-news/2025...

Engaging in this issue like Fetterman would be political suicide.
Good. No appeasement.

Reminder that I don't argue with fascists here, I block them.

I also block people who whine that I won't listen to the fascists.

Who gets to determine when someone is acting like a fascist and/or fascist book licker? Why, I do.

If you don't like it, try not being a fascist and/or a boot licker.

If "calling your elected officials" is our only option, we might as well give up—we've essentially got a king. I've contacted Yvette Clarke's office three times to express my concerns and have received no response. It's just me and a crowd of unhelpful people.
🚨 Everyone needs to call their Dem Senator right now. They are starting to cave.

Tell them:
1. Vote NO on Cloture
AND
2. Vote NO on the Republican spending bill.

Don’t let them pivot to reconciliation. GOP doesn’t need Dem votes on that and they know it.

TODAY is the showdown.
