It's the time of year for reflecting on the books I most enjoyed in 2025. Not necessarily published this year, just read this year.
Top 4:
The Everlasting by Alix Harrow
Death of the Author by Nnedi Okorafor
The Tainted Cup by Robert Jackson Bennett
Mirrored Heavens by Rebecca Roanhorse

So disappointed to realize that #WFUV laid off two of the most knowledgeable, erudite and mellifluous DJ's on the air, Darren DeVivo and Eric Holland. You will be missed, guys!

The IRS wants Americans to weigh in on Direct File, the agency's free tax filing program.

We already know Direct File has been widely popular and successful.

The program could save Americans billions annually between filing fees and time costs.

In a horrifying article about the dangers of Teslas, one point stands out: Teslas automatically disengage self-driving mode <1 second before an imminent crash--not enough time for the driver to react, but enough for Tesla to deny responsibility for fatal crashes, since self-driving "wasn't engaged."

Please. No more speeches in the Senate about “freedom” until one Republican has the guts to stand up to Trump’s lies about Ukraine & Putin. Ukraine did not start this horrific war. Russia did. Zelensky isn't a dictator. Putin is. The US must not enter into an alliance with Putin.
