Not often in our current hellscape that something is both true and funny.

Thought it was going to be a satire about being miserable in a world full of happy people but so far, at least, it's much more of a high concept exploration of individuality and consent. Really intriguing.

Shame to see a season that started so well turn like this. Maybe though, like when Edwards took over at Luton, bringing a manager into a team that is already doing well will give us that little extra we need. There's always hope.

As I see it, a Mamdani win doesn't say much about the USA in general. I think it would indicate that NYC is roughly as it was. A Cuomo win though would indicate that you can intimidate an electorate and that the dark times in the US are going to get darker.

Safest way to get from the Telfer steps to Polwarth is dismounting and crossing at the lights then pushing bike to Gibson Terrace and then along the canal path dodging the swans; some of those swans are absolute units. Good to see that there's a plan to fix this.

If it helps, I have occasionally done: London Rd > CCWEL > Roseburn > Canal link > Fountainbridge > Polwarth. It's pretty shonky at times and makes the point that you have to be a confident cyclist just to figure out the infrastructure that does exist.
