Papercraft crow mask, made for my spousebeast. We're attempting to go to a furry con for the first time. (Design is by GurkoPapercraft on Etsy.)

Oops my hands slipped 30 times and I made another one. This is a really fun modular #origami fold and I just so happen to have just enough paper of specific colors to make one solid-color ball and have a 2-1 rectangle of paper left.

Folded a peacock out of the remaining 2-1 rectangle. Efficiency!

Mental health #origami kusudama, assembled from sonobe modular pieces. The pieces are designed by Andriy Hechuev, they're a variant on the original sonobe tile. Really like this one, gonna hang it somewhere.

Mental health #origami . One square, no cutting, no adhesives... although I messed up the last locking folds I think, so I'm sorely tempted to use, like, one drop of white glue.

Mental "health" origami. "Health", because this one is more mental anguish origami. Easily one of the most complex folds I've ever actually succeeded at making.

Chimera, or at least one interpretation of the Greek monstrosity.

This one is dedicated to all you #plural #therian folx.

Mental health #origami for today : a seven-pointed star.

Mental health origami.

The artist is John Montroll, who is really good at doing these one-square, no-cutting, no-adhesives folds. There's a clever set of locking folds at the end that keeps it together.

A polyhedron doesn't really show up well as a 2d image, but screw it, I like it and it's shiny.

More mental health origami.

The weasel came out just about perfectly, so I commemorated it by pasting googly eyes on him. Our cat celebrated by attacking it and biting one of the eyes off.

Mental health origami. The alicorn is fiendishly difficult to fold, and didn't come out quite right. Princess Celestia dubs her the Element of Protein Powder.

can you imagine the L it would be if this line in the article was "well, unfortunately, as it turns out..."

More mental health origami folding.

All the folds I like are created by origami artist John Montroll, who is big on the one-square-no-cutting-no-glue kind of origami I like so much.

Something to keep my brain occupied with things other than the state of the world.
