The Byrds are the reason we have so many great bands!!! Tom Petty, REM, The Eagles. All of them were inspired by The Byrds.
The Beatles and The Stones and Zeppelin and The Beach Boys and The Who are all wonderful but when you reach the age of 56 you realize it was The Byrds and The Kinks all along. Happy birthday to me.
