I did meet Moira in person a few times, but at conventions where I was programming staff, so rushed. (I also had a long convo with her to pass along the news of a friend of hers dying.) Both years before the MZB revelations.

I don’t necessarily need to talk directly to the doctors and clinics; I just want them to be aware that the patient is out there and that our study exists.

I also have approved flyers for the study that I can provide.

It is likely that the person’s infection is in their GI tract and there is no easy test for that. However, we have a free and confidential study that they could enroll in if they wanted to find out.
