I'm really sorry to hear that friend. Losing a pet is always so hard. It sounds like you've given him two great decades of companionship and that is so important. I know that doesn't make this feeling any easier though.

I think we're broadly on the same page. I'm taking swords and thoughtseize over a fetch for sure. I think these are the two best interactive spells in the cube!
I think the question is really just what "highly" means. There's probably about 10% of cards I take over them.

My take here is there are cards I want over fetches here, but that list of cards in the cube is still really small.
