My Edge of Eternities update for Bodleian Cube.
Not a huge update this time. Testing some interesting cards and cutting a few low investment outliers to give some slower cards breathing room.
I'm pleasantly surprised by EOE for #mtgcube overall.

My Edge of Eternities update for Bodleian Cube.
Not a huge update this time. Testing some interesting cards and cutting a few low investment outliers to give some slower cards breathing room.

I finally got to try @phantooom.bsky.social 's Oldest School last week. It felt more like kitchen table Magic than any cube I've ever played in the best way. I had to read every card, but that made taking down the 3-0 and even more pleasant surprise. Words of War + Sinbad was sick as hell.

Shoutout to the talented @goblingathering.bsky.social for designing these Player Envelopes for Bodleian Cube. I maintain an envelope for each card that makes tokens, but will be replacing all clues, foods, maps, and treasures with these. They also will mark draft seats, and contain the cogworks.

A GW rampy deck with Brightglass Gearhulk, blink, and tokens packages took down today's Bodleian Cube draft. There were so many interesting lines this deck could take, including what my group has dubbed cat dog combo (phelia + chariot). Gearhulk played so well, especially with retrofitter.

A drafter combined these 2 cards with graveyard exile in Bodleian Cube tonight. Cool to see Skimmer draw cards and then become big via Proft's.
Also got to see an Enduring Vitality trigger Kishla on death. Really happy with it as a new card from last night's update.

The Jeskai Winota/Stoneforge ft Narset Enlightened Exile (with blink atuff) i won last night's draft of Bodleian Cube with.
I was excited to draft this and nervous it wouldn't feel coheisve. The parts played together extremely well leading to some cool games.
