Federal district courts set their court calendars and have some local control of procedures. They are not violating any rules regarding writs, etc. DOJ is not likely to win this suit.

He laid no hand on them. Asked to see a judicial warrant, as is his and the defendant's right, and was forcibly detained for no cause.This was absolutely assault by ICE agents who, as usual, are not identified. I hope he has their names & sues for false arrest & has assault&battery charges brought.
