I’ve been told this is impossible and Latinos simply do not identify with each other enough across national origin or geography. Maybe so. But if I was going to imagine how to do it, I’d probably start with a government that uniformly attacked Latinos regardless of their preferred identity.

@bsky.app why do so many cat posts appear in my feed? I am not a big cat fan, but they always decide to sit in my lap to spite me. Your algorithm is basically behaving like a cat sitting in my lap. Can I get dog posts instead of cat posts? Am I missing a toggle setting somewhere?

Perhaps the salvation of American Democracy lies with the power of states. Blue State governors should be testing the extent of their power at every opportunity, and not just in the courts.
